BUILDUP A 1997 SCSB Ford F-250 Project
Picking up a new project can either be one of the best feelings or one of the worst. Sometimes it is just exciting to think of getting a rig exactly where you want it to be, and other times it can be a stressful hurdle that keeps on throwing problems in your face.
Though we’d be quick to say that this “Lone Ranger” Ford looks a little odd, considering that it has tall and narrow wheels and a rather small chassis tying it all together, that doesn’t make it any less admirable.
It would be a difficult thing to not love a clean Ford Excursion. Though maybe not as rugged as a solid F-150 or as well-known as a Ranger or an Explorer, these beasts are plenty capable and just as “Ford tough” as any other rig on the block.
“Built Ford Tough” is not a saying that just came out of thin air. That saying had credibility; it has substance. Ford makes their trucks tough, and there is no doubt about that.
There are two kinds of people in this world — the ones who take on a build with the purpose of fully restoring the ride, and then those who just want to have some fun!
