Pricing for the Lincoln MKZ starts at $34,225 (4WD). The AWD version starts at $36,115. There are many package options available for purchase to increase this price. Those extras will be discussed below.
The Lincoln MKZ features a 3.5 liter DOHC V6 engine. It can get up to 263 horsepower at a redline 6250 rpm and 249 foot pounds of torque at only 4500 rpm. It comes as a front wheel drive vehicle or all wheel drive, with a 6 speed automatic transmission. It has a length of about 16 feet, a height of about 4.5 feet, and almost 7 foot in width. It can seat five passengers, with power seats and lumbar support. These seats also can change from hot to cold with the push of a button.
When it comes to safety, the MKZ is as good as any car out there on the road. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the MKZ a Top Safety Pick award for being one of the safest cars available. To quote the IIHS, they boast that it received the Top Safety Pick due to "good performance in front, side, rollover, and rear tests and standard electronic stability control." The fuel economy of the Lincoln MKZ depends on which drivetrain you get, either the FWD or AWD. The front wheel drive model gets 27 miles per gallon on the highway and 18 miles per gallon in the city. The AWD gets a little less at 24 miles per gallon on the highway and 17 miles per gallon in the city.
