2009 Ford Super Duty F250 Review
The 2009 F250 includes enhancements to the comfort and convenience of all the available trim levels with the addition of standard features””available in brilliant silver, sterling grey, basic black, dark blue pearl, forest green, and oxford white. Other optional features and equipment with the 2009 F250 include traction control, remote ignition, navigational aid, cargo area cover, pickup truck bed liner, body side/cab step or running board and mud guards. All 2009 F250 XL models include optional adjustable foot pedals, CD changer, and sliding rear truck window. A power or manual sunroof/moon roof is an available option with all 2009 Ford Super Duty F250 Crew Cab models. This year, Ford welcomes the Cabela’s brand into the line up of sponsored pickups–featuring two-tone color schemes in oxford white, forest green, royal red, silver, and ebony colors.
2009 Ford Super Duty F250 pickups include a radio, tachometer, ABS brakes front and back, air bags for passenger and driver, locking pickup tailgate, vehicle anti-theft, cargo area tie downs, air conditioning, trip computer, tire inflation/pressure monitor, second row folded seat, and front air dam. Standard equipment in all (except F250 XL models) include power door locks, power windows, keyless entry (remote lock/unlock), cruise control, tilt steering column, CD player, front split bench seat, heated exterior mirror, and power adjustable exterior mirror. Standard features with the Cabela’s version include custom mud flaps, two-tone leather seats, custom center stack with dark wood, along with the Cabela’s logo on the seats and floor mats.
A 5.4L 300 hp 24-valve gas engine producing 365 ft lbs of torque @ 3750 rpm is standard equipment with all 2009 Ford Super Duty F250 models. There are two optional engines available: a 6.4L 350 hp 32-valve diesel engine producing 650 ft lbs of torque @ 2000 rpm; and a 6.8 L 362 hp 30-valve gas engine producing 457 ft lbs of torque @ 3250 rpm.
A 6-speed manual overdrive transmission is standard equipment with all 2009 Ford Super Duty F250 models. A 5-speed TorqShift automatic overdrive transmission is an available option for all 2009 Ford Super Duty F250 models.
