A 2008 Ford F-250 SuperCab Flatbed Build

FTE Build

When it comes to builds, often plans can change rather suddenly. That’s what happened when FTE member DieselCamper‘s previous build fell through. It turned out that the parts were just too expensive for the 1999 Ford F-350 that he had picked up. Thus, he made the logical decision to trade in his ride for something new, and a bit more doable, to work with.

DieselCamper’s new build features a 2008 Ford F-250 SuperCab Flatbed. Much newer than his ’99 rig, this truck is definitely different than his previous build! Still, it seems like it will meet his needs well. With a 6.4L Powerstroke and 140,000 miles, we’d also say that’s it’s a great base to start with!

Among other things, he plans to add a six to eight inch Pro Comp lift, thirty-five to thirty-eight inch tires, a five inch exhaust, a roof mounted rack, a flatbed mounted rack, off-road loads, and powder-black bumpers. This ride will definitely be pretty cool when it’s complete!
