1. Heat up the neck of the knob with a hair dryer or heat gun until it is hot enough where you cant hold your hand on it.

2.Place a regular screwdriver under the lip of the knob where the knob meets the shift lever.

3. Tap the screwdriver handle with a hammer and it will come off.

4. If it does not come off, apply more heat or hit it harder with the hammer and it will break the neck of the knob and the knob will fall off.
