Chip Foose Bringing Two Ford Trucks to SEMA

sema-ford-2.jpg

We don't have a lot of details yet, but design wizard Chip Foose of Overhaulin' fame will be bring two Ford Trucks to SEMA this year. Other than wheels and tires and some decals from sponsor WD-40, it's tough to see what's going to be done to the 2013 F-350, but the 1953 F-100 looks to be extensively modified. I really like the Rocket Chemical Co.—the original name of the WD-40 company—branding on the door, and think the stance looks spot on. Given Foose's reputation and the fact that it's being built for SEMA, I'd say that the classic rig will be a resto mod with modern drivetrain in place of the Flathead V8. After the show, both of trucks will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson to off to benefit a pair of great charities, the Victory Junction Gang Camp—Richard Petty's camp for sick kids—and Childhelp, which supports abused and neglected kids.

I'll post photos of both these bad boys when I see them in Vegas, so stay tuned!
