The 2010 Ford F150 includes a number of features designed for more convenience and a better overall driving experience. Standard this year is a Track Sway Control to help maintain control of the trailer during braking. Also included are box side steps, a tailgate step, a bed extender that hides out of view, and a fully integrated Trailer Brake Controller that synchronizes vehicle and trailer brakes–providing the driver with an increased control of payloads and towing.

The 2010 F150 is available in XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, FX4, SVT Raptor, King Ranch, Platinum, and Harley Davidson models. There are three cab choices and two different bed styles. Cab options are RegularCab, SuperCab, and SuperCrew; the box sizes are 5.5-ft, 6.5-ft and 8-ft—with box styles including the Standard and Styleside, which is only available with rear-wheel drive models.

The 2010 Ford F150 is available in a tuxedo black, ingot silver, blue flame, vermillion red, pueblo gold, dark blue pearl, royal red, sterling gray, red candy and oxford white color. Standard equipment includes a Sequential Multi-port Electronic Injection system, stainless steel exhaust, an Electronic 4-speed Automatic Overdrive transmission, and an Electronic Ignition system (EEC-V computer system). Also included is power steering, power 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, heavy-duty gas pressurized front and rear shocks, and a double-wishbone independent front suspension with coil-over shock and stamped control arm.

Three engines are available with 2010 Ford F150 pickups: a 4.6L 2-valve 248hp V8 engine with 294 ft lbs of torque @ 4000 rpm; a 4.6L 3-valve 292hp V8 engine with 320 ft lbs of torque @ 4000 rpm; and a 5.4L 3-valve 310hp V8 engine with 390 ft lbs of torque @ 3500 rpm. A Heavy-Duty Payload Package is available that upgrades to 11,000 lbs towing capacity and 3,000 lbs of cargo.
