2000 Ford Super Duty F350 Review and Specs  



The 2000 Ford Super Duty F350 included a few changes to Lariat, XLT and XL trims as well as additional standard features and two additional color choices for all trims. Four wheel anti-lock brakes were standard on Lariat pickups, bucket seats were available for XL trims, and power windows and door locks were standard in all XLT models.

The 2000 Ford Super Duty F350 was available in 4-wheel and rear-wheel pickups with color options ranging from harvest gold, bright amber, basic black, dark toreador red, deep wedgewood blue, island blue, to oxford white, red, or woodland green. Two new interior colors; dark denim blue and medium dark parchment were available for 2000 F350 pickups.

Optional equipment for the 2000 Ford Super Duty F350 included keyless entry (remote luck/unlock), cruise control, tilt steering, leather steering wheel, radio, ABS brakes, air bags, and limited slip differential or axle. Also optional was a driver multi-adjustable power and leather seat (standard with Lariat models), cargo bed cover, cargo net, load bearing exterior rack, and pickup truck bed liner.

The 2000 F350 was available in two-door RegularCab, and four-door SuperCab and Crew Cab configurations, XL, XLT or Lariat styles, and a number of box lengths. RegularCab models sat 3 people comfortably, while SuperCab and Crew Cab models sat 6 in comfort.

Standard equipment in 2000 Ford Super Duty F350 pickups included a radio, ABS brakes, air bags for driver and passenger and a full size spare tire. Alloy wheels were standard with all Lariat and XLT models, with steel wheels being an available option for all trims. Power door locks were standard in all 2000 Ford Super Duty F350 pickups; except for XL trims, while air conditioning was standard in all XLT and Lariat trims.

The standard engine with all 2000 Ford Super Duty F350 pickups was a 5.4 L 260 hp 16-valve gas engine with 350 ft lbs of torque @ 2500 rpm and Sequential Electronic Fuel Injection. There were two optional engines for 2000 Ford Super Duty F350 models; a 6.8 L 310 hp 20-valve gas engine with 425 ft lbs of torque @ 3250 rpm and a 7.3 L 235 hp 16-valve turbocharged diesel engine with 500 ft lbs of torque @ 1800 rpm.
