They have their own ways of doing things in the Great State of Kentucky.

And that's just fine, because Kentucky—and please don't try to argue otherwise—is the only place in the world that makes bourbon. Along with landing on the moon, the birth of rock 'n' roll, and the films of Martin Scorsese, the creation of bourbon stands among the American experiment's most magnificent accomplishments. This delicious, caramel-colored liquor is something of which every citizen should be proud. And we owe it to Kentucky. 

So if the folks in the Bluegrass State see fit to send off fallen folk with diesel burnouts, I don't think we're in any position to argue. Enjoy.
