Custom Fabrication of an EGR system for a Ford 300 inline 6 (Part 3)

Test Fitting the EGR to the Adapter

After the fitting were test fitted we clamped the EGR valve to the adapter to measure/mark where the holes in the EGR valve were on the adapter. We then drilled two holes through the adapter big enough to allow a 5/16 bolt to run through so can can connect the adapter to the EGR valve. We found that a 4" piece of aluminum would have made life easier but this aluminum was free so we can't complain too much. It just mean we had to be careful how close to the edge we drilled the holes to the edge of the aluminum block.
