The fun thing about mods is that you never know what you're going to find when searching for something new. A lot of times, we see lifted trucks with wicked suspension and trick diffs. Super Duties capable of towing the sun if they had enough grip. But a Ranger? They're small and typically pretty beat on. While their following is definitely dedicated, the ranger itself has been written off by the higher-ups at Ford. That said, that dedicated following has still shown some chutzpa with their old chassis. At least, if twistedmetalcustom's Ranger roadster is anything to go by.

Yep, that's a mini-truck with a rag-top. It's not done yet and is probably a little bit drafty, but this is the first time we've seen a ranger without a roof. You might be wondering why someone might do that to a Ranger, especially considering that Ford isn't making them anymore. Well, this one rolled over and has actually been saved from a life of rotting away in a barn someplace. As such, the front windshield frame has been replaced by one from a Jeep Wrangler.

In fact, much of the car's new hardware is Jeep stuff. The roll bars, the window surrounds, and the safari top as well. That said, it doesn't look half bad on the ranger. But, that might have to do with the other mods that have been done to the truck's exterior.

Either way, it's a cool and different look compared to what we're used to seeing from the mod scene. The Ranger might be gone, but that doesn't mean it's forgotten. At all.
