T-18 Transmission Rebuild (Part 6)





Apply a thin coating of your favorite gasket sealer then the gasket and another layer of sealer.
 
Put the bearing cover on and tighten the bolts according to specs.
 
Do the same process for the pto cover plate.
 
Install the new teflon guides on the shifter forks, and clean the gasket sealing surfaces.
 
These are the small parts on the top of the tranny. I found that small pin at the bottom, of the tranny, so keep an eye on this one.
 
This is the small hole where that small pin goes.
 
Put the new seal in the extension housing using the correct tool.
 
Apply your sealer/gasket/sealer, put the top back on and bolt it down. When it sets-up all I'll have to do is paint the top and were done.
