A 3.73 axle ratio is the only one available with the PSD SRW.  You might want
a limited slip.  I think the engine block heater is included with the diesel.
I'd get the camper package instead of the heavy service suspension.

Maybe a trailer hitch, too.  Also consider a bed longer than 8 inches (just
joking with you).

Subject: 250 vs 350

Hello Again,

I've received some good input on spec'ing out a farm truck for may Dad -
Thanks!

Now I'm trying to figure out what an F350 brings to the table that an F250
doesn't.  And is it worth the extra cost?  I think that a 350 allows you to
carry more in the bed!?  I seem to remember being told that you can actually
tow more with a 250 (assuming same engine, drive train, etc.)  Is this
because the 350 weighs more (heavier frame ?)

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks Again,
Don in Thompson's Station, TN

Subject: biodiesel

Has anyone had any personal experience or heard of anyone's
experiences with soybean oil-based biodiesel?  From what I understand it
can be used in any diesel engine at any percentage up to and including
100% biodiesel with no modifications or power/mileage penalty.  I have
been told that the current price is around $1.10-1.15/gallon.  Can
anyone verify this?  Any information would be greatly appreciated!  TIA
