If so, what are the best tires. I will be towing a 7500lb trailer 2-3,000 miles a year and a pot full of kids the rest of the year. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks... It took me about 2 hours to fix the rubbing. They don't make much more noise over the Firestone 265/75-16's that came on the truck. The 295's probably wouldn't rub at all! Hope this helps. Hello, I'm a little worried about the Steeltex tires that are on my 01 Excursion. I read a post from Ken Payne that there have been 170 complaints about these tires. Do any of you have any updated information? I think I'm going to replace these tires and set them aside until this all blows over. I can't stand the thought of my family riding on a set of possibly faulty tires.....
