My wife has a 98 F150 and it reads wrong also, I have been running the caster 10W30 Synthic in TX this summer and its doing well. As for my powerstoke that I just purchased I need to know What is the best oil in this climate? My truck is black so I ordered the topper with gloss black finish, gloss black trim moldings, and dark tinted sliding windows. I also ordered the topper lined with gray carpeting. I then ordered a gray carpet kit from SteelHorse for the bed of my truck. The two carpets match perfectly making for a really nice looking interior. I then perchased an aluminum diamond plate tool box that fits between the bed rails of the truck, not on top of the bed rails. Before installing the topper I removed the gray plastic bed rail protectors that ford installs at the factory. This makes the topper blend perfectly with the truck bed, otherwise with a black truck and topper you would have the gray plastic rail protector showing between the topper and truck box. My truck is a crew cab and also has the dark tinted windows so it really looks sharp with the topper also having dark tinted windows. [Dan Brotzman] I also ordered a reinforcement in the roof of the topper to mount a cloths bar. I use the truck 90% of the time for towing a travel trailer, and a flat bed for hauling pulling/show tractors. Hey Superduty List. I have been enjoying my new (for me) truck for about a month now. I want a cap for the back. What should I be looking for. Any brand recommendations. So far I know of Leer. Any advice on profile - raised roof, sliding windows etc... How secure are caps. Is a tonneau cover better? Will a tool box still fit in the box with a cap on? Sounds like a really sweet setup you've got. It hadn't occurred to me to carpet the bed, but I don't see why not once you have the cap on. How difficult would it be to remove the cap and carpet from the bed in order to use the bed for ?whatever? Or is this cap deemed a permanent use and the bed is never used for ?crap? and use a tralier instead. So, just to reiterate... Centry cap. - Is this Centry or Century??? Steelhorse - bed liner carpet. Aluminum Diamond Plate Tool Box - what brand??? Dan, any URL's would be handy for tracking down some models, and places to purchase the above items.
