Does anybody know what the correct stock thermostat opening temperature
would be for a 1997 Explorer with and a 4.0L OHV V6.  Mine is acting up and
in checking around three different parts stores gave me three different
answers when asked what the stock opening temperature should be that  the
OEM thermostat opens at.

Thanks, Brent Bolte

A couple of weeks ago the message board guidelines were
overhauled.  They have worked out well and they leave
little gray areas as opposed to the old guidelines.
Because of their success, the mailing list guidelines
have been brought in sync with the message board
guidelines.

Please read the new guidelines at:

These are the new Terms Of Service the lists will be
operating under.  If you do not agree with them, please
unsubscribe from the list(s) or contact me personally.

I may "?" have a co-driver however that spot is still open at this
time..
I am seeking someone who has a bronco capable trailer and a suitable tow
vehicle to go from Portland- threw Calif. to Ensenada.. and back... I
will supply fuel..

I am also seeking possable pit support. This is essentually a 1 week

some friends of his came out and helped in "99 and you can check with
him how they liked it.
Lodging will be provided in Ensenada as a home-base for the week  (as
long as u don't mind sleeping bags and tires in the kitchen..)
You can goto   philmoulton.com for pics from the "99 race
