I have a 95 Ranger 4.0L. Is this OBD II compliant?
Looking at the manual I would have to say yes. Looking
at various web sites, I would say maybe. Every site I
have been to say '96 and later vehicles. One site
did list 95 vehicles, the Ranger was included but with
the note stating that it was not fully compliant.
So I guess my question is: "If I order the scan tool from
http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.obd-2.com/ will it work on my vehicle?"
I have also sent an e-mail to this site to see what they
say, but I would like to know if anyone here has had first

Subject: '86 Throttle Body
I know the TBs off of the '86 BIIs were a little bigger than the '88 that I
have, but I'm having a horrible time trying to find one. The one local
junkyard that I tried was no help, and neither was carparts.com or
wrenchhead.com. If anyone knows where I can find one, that would be great.
Thanks in advance!
