Try B & T Associates on Route 202 in Raritan. I've taken my BII there for the last 3 or 4 years. It's a small shop and they are very conscientious about fixing the problem right the first time. If you work near by, they will even take you to work when you drop off your vehicle. The number is 908-725-7642 (ask for Barry - the "B" in B & T.)
Hope this helps.

Subject: [small-list] NJ mechanic recommendations - Explorer tuneup
My 1994 Ford Explorer is in serious need of a tuneup. Symptoms: valve ping on
uphills, occasional hesitation on acceleration.
Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the North/Central Jersey area...Somerville,
Bridgewater or nearby?
