Hey all,

I just tuned the 2.0 in my '88. I had great color on cyl's 2-4, but no. 1
was black. It runs okay above idle and has okay power (how much does a 2.0
have anyway), but idles a little rough. I put in new wires, cap, rotor, and
plugs.

I have not read the plugs again, but I have a feeling #1 will be black
again. Could this be a result of low compression in that cylinder? Worn cam?

Help!

Thanks,
Chris

There are several new Ford Motor Company press releases on
the FTE web site. Ford slam dunks the competition with the
new Super CrewZer, it makes the Super Duty and Excursion
look small. Can you say tractor-trailor rig in your driveway?

Here's the list of press releases:

2001 King Ranch F-150 SuperCrew
2001 Ford F-650 Super CrewZer
Super Duty F-Series -- One in a Million
The 2001 Platinum Edition Ford Super Duty F-250
Ford Super Duty F-Series -- The Clear Leader in Customer Choice

You can find them at www.ford-trucks.com
