I was recently informed by a shop that was doing some brake work for me that
my 94 2wd Ranger ext. cab/4.0L is in need of shock replacement. This seems
a little early at 59,000 miles, but if this is so then does anyone have a
suggestion on replacement shocks for Rangers. Are they all about the same
or have some really given better results for Ranger owners?

Buy the Edelbrock IAS shocks. They made an amazing amount of difference on
my Mountaineer. There is absolutely no comparison between stock shocks and
these. It rides like a car now, yet has excellent control while cornering.
No body lean whatsoever.
