Every once in a while there's a sale where you can get 5 quarts of
Mobil 1 synthetic oil with a Mobil 1 oil filter and they knock off
$5. You know you're going to change the oil every 3-6 K miles (YMMV -
and yes the pun is intentional) so you might as well buy them when
they go on sale and save them on the shelf until it's time to do the
oil change.

CR, check out this site on Explorer maintenance tips:

www.glue.umd.edu/~singleton/web/pages/ati.html

It describes a procedure for changing ALL the fluid yourself.

Hi All,

Take the "o" out of singleton to get
http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.glue.umd.edu/~singletn/web/pages/ati.html and it will work.
