Muggers/criminals love the dark, as no one can see them. With a light on, you make them visible if they try something. Having worked for a P.D in California for 6 years "Opened my eyes" to a lot of crime deterrents. Light is one of them! =========================================================== David Cooley N5XMT Internet: N5XMT Packet: N5XMT We are Borg... I had intended to post the links here, but when I tried them prior to posting, they didn't work for some reason. I have the information printed out and will find a way to forward it if anyone is interested. As you might expect, the 5.0 requires a little more than the 4.0 does. with the 5.0 you need a different radiator, and the tranny has to be changed as well. The a4ld tranny can't handle the output from a V-8. A C4 will bolt in from what I understand if the bell housing and the tail shaft are changed. The 4.0 is a very do-able swap, however part of the wiring harness needs to be changed and the computer from the 4.0 needs to be grafted in. From what I have read on it, if you are at least somewhat knowledgable in general auto repairs and take one wire at a time, you can handle it. Post here or my E-dress if you want more.... .....come on seven....daddy wants a 5.0 ......... ______________________________________________________ == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 06 Dec 1999 00:59:51 EST From: "Joe Scott" Subject: FTE Small - swap links for 2.9 L to ???
