Check the vacuum hose going to the vacuum modulator... If it's cracked or
come off, it will try not to shift as it thinks the engine has 0 vacuum all
the time (wide open throttle).

Subject: FTE Small - Gas gauge

I have a 93 Explorer 4.0 w/115k miles and the gas gauge just recently quit
working. I'm guessing it's the sending unit. Has anyone else had to deal
with this yet? If it is the sending unit, should the fuel pump be replaced
at this time while the tank would be down?

I have a 2wd 1994 ford ranger with a 3.0 and i was hoping I could
change it to a 4wd or if it was worth it or if anyone has any info on
that.

Probably be cheaper to buy a new truck...
Have to have the transfer case, complete front suspension, frame may not be
the same and may require extensive mods etc...

I have a '93 with the KKM intake kit, it had everything (crappy
instructions, but whatever) and I'm really happy with it.

My friend has a 93 Aerostar 3.0/auto with about 70,000 miles. The check
engine light occasionally lights up and then goes off, pretty random. Any
ideas?
