Try jumping the solenoid. If it starts up fine, try replacing the ignition switch. _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 12 Jan 1999 14:35:42 -0700 From: "Billy Moore" Subject: FTE Small - Twin I-Beam: Good or Bad? I'm planning on buying a used Ranger. I understand that the Twin I-Beam front suspension was replaced in 95. Is this correct? I have heard that the new suspension drives better, but is it as rugged as the old one? Should I go with an older Twin I-Beam truck or a newer one? BTW, I thought my wife's 92 4x4 Explorer drove just fine. Thanks. I once got stuck between two of those bozos man, am I in the wrong place! Well, to enter my $.02, I DO have a stereo that has ample power to do what you all have been subscribing the past few days, but it usually doesn't. I listen to all types of music, so it really just depends on the mood I'm in. I am guilty of doing just what you all have described, but I really try not to and be considerate of those around me. (If you're wondering, I have an Alpine CD player, 2 Rockford Fosgate 10"'s, a 350 watt amp, and two new 6 1/2"'s to replace the very poor speakers that came w/ it. Between that and my exhaust, I don't think I would *hear* you honking at intersections! :) - -- Joe - -- I'd push a Ford before I drove a Chevy, but I don't need to. - -- http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.angelfire.com/tx/tru2datank/index.html ______________________________________________________ == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 12 Jan 1999 22:03:48 EST From: DJ250r Subject: Re: FTE Small - Twin I-Beam: Good or Bad? i got i beams under my 95 ranger and the cool thing about i beams is you can get big travel out of them for off roading dwayne jackson == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 12 Jan 1999 22:34:34 -0500 From: Ken Payne Subject: FTE Small - Ford Truck Enthusiasts T-shirts! Hi Gang! After numerous delays, we finally have Ford Truck Enthusiasts t-shirts! We've been promising these for a while and had many people beg for them over the past several months. The artist completed the work last week and the design went to press today. Pricing information will be available this weekend (after we find out what it will cost to ship them). The t-shirts are 100% cotton with a front pocket and a design on the back. Sizes child medium through adult XXXL are available. For a preview of the design before they go on sale this weekend: http://www.ford-trucks.com/tshirt.jpg The image on the web site is 640x480 pixels, the image on the shirt is hi-resolution with over 1900x1400 pixels. I believe most everyone will be happy with the design! To those that entered a design, we haven't forgotten. Our first order of business after we make some sales is to provide a prize pack to you. Any announcement will be made with ordering details this weekend.
