can anyone suggest a brand of moon/sun visors for a bronco II that looks
really good? I am looking for a clean fit not to pricey. Also where to
get the best deals from?

Thanks,
T.J.

Wow...why don't you REALLY tell us how you feel about Ford's Quality Care
Service.

William & merc,

I just checked the visors in my friends 93 Ranger.
They're almost identical to my 88 BII except that
his includes a small notch 2-3" from the end of the
visor which exposes part of the rod so that it may
engage a small clip near the upper edge of the
widshield and keeps it from pivoting. The other end
(where the pivot point is) appears to be identical to
my BII only it's a lot tighter. The small clip is only
held in by a single screw.

This may not be the easy fix you were looking for,
however, it appears that if you could find a pair of
these in the right color, that they would be pretty
easy to install. My friends interior was red (just like
my BII). Now, if only I would've had a screwdriver...

Yea, but the law does allow for BROKEN (hint hint) odometers to be
replaced. It's all a matter of documenting actual miles with the dmv,
and placing a sticker in the door jamb. Now, before going through
all the trouble of having your broken odometer replaced, you might
want to make sure that ford can't pre-set a new electronic odometer
to your present milage :-(

Didn't have to worry about rust prevention. I made mine from 1/4" thick 304
Stainless Steel checkerplate. I then plasma burned in a ford oval in the
center.

Anyone know where I can get a set of hood mounts and gas lift shocks from a
96 Explorer? I need one from the Explorer with the V8 option. I am going
to add these when I put on my cowl hood this winter.

FTE is planning to expand the links pages considerably.
Please send us (kpayne ford-trucks.com) your favorite
automotive and truck links or even your web site if
its auto or truck related. It does not have to be
Ford related because we have a section for non-Ford
sites.
