No way!! That pi$ me off! I've always wanted that capability and I don't
have the time to do it myself. Had I waited a little longer, I could have got
this feature and four doors! Doh!

I wonder if this is the case with the 99 Explorers also. I hope so.

I put some after market driving lights on my '97 Ranger and since I didn't
want to drill any new holes, I used removed two of the bolts that hold on
the chin spoiler and mounted them in the existing holes. Hardest part was
finding a place to mount the switch without drilling any holes in the dash.
I ended up mounting the switch in the little cover that hides the computer
diagnostic hookup.

22. What about posting advertisements to the ad page or lists?

Only private-party advertisements are allowed. No commercial ads allowed.
Vendors are welcome and encouraged to participate in discussion so long
as they do not use this discussion as a means of advertisement. Vendors
may recommend parts/procedures only if it is in response to a query from
a list member. Common sense should prevail.
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------

If, and only if, you have a discount for FTE members that isn't available
elsewhere are such posts allowed. Example: Auto Krafters once offered
a discount on fenders (it may have been a different part, don't remember)
to anyone who was an FTE member. Just remember that the louder your
posting is, the more likely it is that list members will react badly.
The FTE lists are meant to be a haven with no advertiser and
advertiser/editorial influence.

I am thinking of doing an engine swap to a 302 cid and read that I need to
install a C4 trany. My question is out of what vehicles would one be
compatible? Any help is wanted.

My 91 Explorer ignition switch is going south. ( mechanically, it won't
always turn until you apply extreme pressure) Has anyone done this
replacement themselves? I am wondering what choices I have as far as getting
a used or new switch rekeyed so I still only have one key?
