Thanks >Eric Blackwell >Bronco 2 88' YMMV.. as in "yer mileage may vary" on tire size. Unless you have non-stock rims , those 6" steel or 6.25" "mags" are only good for about a 235 (maybe a 245 if a 70 series.. ) max without rubbing on the sway bar arms up front. 30.5x9.50's were on mine when I bought it, and that was the first thing I changed. Too tall for the gearing, they rubbed, and not worth crap in the rain! As for brand, that depends on intended use (and not what you want it to look like... big meats do not make it a better 4 wheeler UNLESS the DRIVER knows how to use them!) I'm running Les Schwab Wildcats (old style) in 4 ply right now, but for my driving I wished I'd waited until the Wrangler ATS came out! Doesn't impress by looks, but rain/ ice/ snow and moderate NW WA Cascades radio site trails are great on the wurk 4by. But that's MY opinion... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Keith Christensen 309093 I am a Washington State resident! Spamming me is subject to a $500 (or more) penalty. I own a 1992 with the 3.0L, and to me, it seems like the air box/intake leaves a lot to be desired as far as cool air flow is concerned. Also, there is not any after-market products that were designed to work with that engine as far as induction is concerned (Or at least none that I'm aware of anyway..). So Im thinking of making a rig myself...Any suggestions ??
