I'm wondering if I can add one to the truck and around how much it would cost(differential and installation). Any advise would be appreciated. I've got a 1989 4x2 Bronco II w/ the 2.9 liter engine. Thanks Sola wrote: > > Hi, I have a 97 Ranger 4X2 that doesn't have limited slip differential. Bruce & JO >jakedog Hi Bruce, My daughter now 9 7/8th years old has used our 87 Ranger super-cab since day one. It is time for me to get something bigger, maybe last year was time. I hate to give up my Ranger. We just strapped in a seat with the seat belt and pulled it tight. It seemed a very cozy and safe arrangement. When traveling, which we did a lot when she was young, we put her behind the driver with two pillows either side (front to back/left-right). That kept dropped things from going far. Behind the drivers seat the passenger can easily lean back by rotating the seat-back, and keep company with or an eye on the baby. My advise, Keep the Ranger. I did. He used a product called "nick-sand" on it. He was using this on a real deep metalic red and was very concerned about scratch marks. This stuff was a white paste like substance that he had to apply with a wet buffing pad on a drill not a buffer. Apparently had to be put on at speed, but had to be carefull not to burn the paint. It took him a couple of pain staking days to do the entire boat but it worked. No scratchmarks and no water stains. If your intrested in the stuff e-mail me back and let me know and I'll find out where he purchesed the stuff from. The kit is a little different, but as long as your Ranger has the exact same as the listing for the Explorer, then it will fit perfectly. == FTE: Unsubscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Jun 1998 11:27:47 -0700 From: JDriver Subject: FTE Small - dual exhaust daner the 1985 mustang gt had a Y- pipe with the oxygen sensor in the right side header pipe. you'll also need a set of log type exhaust manifolds to fit a 5.0L in a ranger, look on a 1970's maverick. good luck jerry - -- To Reply by email, click here: mailto:offroad == FTE: Unsubscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Jun 1998 18:34:26 -0400 From: "Anthony Rifici" Subject: Re: FTE Small - Attn: J. Thanks for the reply Jerry, but I am not sure I know what you mean by "but as long as your Ranger has the exact same as the listing for the Explorer, then it will fit perfectly". Exact same?
