The parts dept thinks it won't work and doesn't know of anyone who has done it, and I don't want to order them unless I know for sure. Also--does anyone know if there are any molded running boards for the 4 door currently available anywhere? == FTE: Unsubscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Jun 1998 21:07:07 -0400 From: "Anthony Rifici" Subject: FTE Small - K&N Filtercharger Kits I know the K&N topic has been discussed to death, but please bear with me. I would like to change my air intake out to a less restrictive type. However, I need to keep the emissions controls for Ohio E-check inspections and hot air tube for winter warm-up. What exactly does the K&N filtercharger kit add/eliminate from the air intake? Also, since K&N doesn't make the kit for a 94 Ranger 4.0, will the Explorer kit of the same year work? There was some discussion of this on the list in March. Jerry Dean wrote in (3/13-3/15) that he had done this with a 96. Has anybody else done this? Jerry, if your still out there, do you know if the same is true for a 94? As always, any response is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tony '94 Ranger Supercab, 4.0L, 5-Speed == FTE: Unsubscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 20 Jun 1998 02:26:13 -0400 From: Ken Payne Subject: FTE Small - ADMIN: New performance list The Performance list is now working. This list is for performance issues, all years are covered. Off-topic posts will be strictly enforced with this list as I do not want it to take content away from the other lists. If you want to talk about milage, towing, looks, etc, post to the appropriate group. If you want to talk about HP, torque, hot-rodding, building strong engines, etc, then this is the group (although these issues can be covered in the existing groups too). This group was started so members can tap into the vast knowledge base we have - some of which transcends year/models. List member Keith Srb will be administering this list so please send administrative questions to him at herbie You can subscribe by sending email to majordomo with one of the following in the BODY of the message: subscribe perf subscribe perf-digest Or as an alternative, you can use the subscribe form on the web site.
