I've got a few questions I'd like some help with. Here is the info I got. Manufacturing date: 06/83 (regestered as an 84) 2.8 litre V6 4 spd. code: X (??T-4??) Axle code: 42 (??3.45??) What I'd like is the Trans model, axle ratio (7.5" model I think), and the most likly transfer case (??BorgWarner 1345??). As well as anything else you might be able to tell me (trany and Xfer case ratios would be great). Thanks alot Tyler = Ford Truck Enthusiasts ============================================== Send posts to: small-list Send unsubscribe requests to: majordomo "unsubscribe small-list" in the message body. ======================================================================= ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 16 May 1998 20:41:50 -0500 From: Mike Krause Subject: FTE Small - starting problems.... I own a '91 Explorer, 2 wd, 4dr XLT and I'm having a little bit of a starting delay with it. I changed the plugs and wires about 15,000 miles ago and just recently replaced the starter. Could this problem be due to not torqueing the plugs with a torque wrench. When I start it at times it takes almost 5-6 seconds to finally turn over. I'm at a loss of ideas on how to solve this problem and appreciate any help. Thanks.
