What are some simple and Low cost ways to get a 2.3L to have a decent or just
mildly bad ummph in it??? Also, anybody here got a sub in a standard cab
ranger (one that is in the cab) I've looked around with little luck. JL
looks good buy $500...give me a break

Kicker's 8" Solobaric in the matching Q-Logic sealed box from Crutchfield
works well, but you still can slide the seat all the way back.

I dont't know who says Rangers limit "in stock form" to 105 mph. On the way
to work today the speedo registered 115 mph.

I noticed on a pricing site that 265/75 tires we optional on the XLT model
ranger. Do they lift the truck at all to fit these on, or do they fit
stock? Those are the same diameter I have on my fullsize, it just seems
like they wouldn't fit on a stock ranger?

I'm running two 10 inch solo-baric kickers in my truck right behind
the seats....plenty of leg room.... As for the 2.3 liter performance,
there's a truck in Jeff's Car World (Candia, NH) with headers and some
other mod's i believe. you might try giving them a call and asking
for a price....

My Ranger came with these tires, and I don't think that it has a lift...But I
did read in some 4x4 mag that the STX, XLT and Splash 4x4's came with a 1.5
inch lift...But the tires do fit just fine...no rubbing or other problems...I
do think that Ford only put them on SuperCab and long bed models though, I
remember seeing in my owners manual that they recomended not puttn a stock7.srs on tha put.sheyRanhigh
