ADMIN: Charter and FAQ [Ken Payne ]
Date: Thu, 25 Dec 1997 23:57:25 -0500
From: Ken Payne
Subject: ADMIN - Welcome Aboard!
As you can see, the small truck list is up and running
a little earlier than expected. A copy of our Charter
and FAQ will go out as the next email (same email for
digest members). Please read these.
Do not be surprized if the list traffic is slow for the
first couple of weeks. When the 1960 and older truck
list started there were times when it went 2-3 days
without a post. As conversation picks up and membership
grows this won't be a problem. A formal announcement on
the newsgroups has been made.

Here's the charter. FAQ is on the web site. Read the
FAQ if you have any questions.

Its intention is to assist owners in the enjoyment of their vehicles.
We cator to all Ford truck fans, whether they are antique restorers or
daily drivers of new trucks. Our goal is to allow all those who use
our discussion groups to exchange information in an environment free
from outside influence.
All F-series pickups, E-series vans, Rangers, Broncos, Bronco IIs,
Rancheros and pre-F series pickups. In addition, Mercury trucks and
Econoline trucks are allowed.
Advertising In the Lists
Only private-party advertisements are allowed. No commercial ads
allowed. Vendors are welcome and encouraged to participate in
discussion so long as they do not use this discussion as a means of
advertisement. Vendors may recommend parts/procedures only if it
is in response to a query from a list member. Basically, use common
sense. We offer web page advertising which is seperate from the lists.
