This lock set hood latch should work on most 73-79 ford trucks. My 79
Bronco XLT had it. I swapped it out for a 76 regular hood latch because
It was a pain to open the hood from the inside. If this Is what you
desire most late model XLT llatiet packages, and XLT bronco's came with
them. If you find one in a bone yard make sure you chack the cable for
fraying and make sure the mechanism woks freely, they had a habbit of
sticking and then, tempers flare and cables get broke.
I think all of them came with the key lock at the end of the handle.
