Non of my mail (at least that I've seen) has any attachments but I
have "use mime features" turned on. Has anyone had a problem with my
mail?

Um, well yeah I was kinda bugged by the attachments. But I guess it may
have been out of line or at least impolite not to just politely ask you not
to use binary attachments as they're a nuisance. I got caught up in the
end-of-summer exasperation that seems to translate into "road rage" as they
say, even on the information superhighway. You do seem to be posting the
most attachments though, whether on purpose or quite possibly by accident.
So, sorry for getting mad at you and overreacting. Please, though, make
sure you're not sending binary attachments any more cause if you do and I'm
on autosave then I have to dig around and delete all those attachments later
from another directory, and that's a hassle.

Thanks!

Hey Gary, I would like for you to be Batman too, just for what you'd build
for the Batmobile! I miss the daze of cool cars. My favorite was the
Munstermobile!
The junkyard had 5 or 6 Lincoln's with disk rears. Anyone interested the
place was called U pick U save in Pamona California and they wanted $120 for
all parts. I need to get finished with a dozen or so projects before I can
do mine. I just tagged along with a friend that was looking for a

bel*housing for his Toyota pickup. Sorry I can never figure out where to put
*. while I was there I took a look to see what they had, after all, what you
can fit in your pockets is free. I think the perfect setup would be the
HD duel piston in front and the LC in the rear. Talking about stopping
power!
I'm thinking about making a power bleeder with all the talk about them
it doesn't sound to difficult and it would be nice for purging the old
fluid! Any suggestions on making one?
BTW Gary maybe your Bronco could use the HD calipers up front. I think I
remember you said you had the single piston.
Later!

Fellow Ford Truck Owners,

I learned two things today.

1) What MIME is.

2) I don't like being flamed.

I am sorry if this binary attachment business has caused anyone grief. One
kind sole sent me a private e-mail explaining how to fix the problem. I
hope that the problem is taken care of.

The real problem is that I had now idea that I was causing a problem.
Since I am not on the digest I don't see the problem there and I rarely
receive any file attachments unless they are there for a reason.

If the attachment problem isn't resolved please let me know.

I guess folks deal with situations differently.

Do you have a phone number? I'm real interested at that price!
Maybe I could get them to ship it to me?

From: Tom Hogan
Subject: Oil tank

I saw an article in a magazine last night that had a great idea for a
tool to fill rear end oil or ATF. Basically they took a portable air
tank cut a hole in it and welded in a fitting, installed a pipe that
reached to the bottom of the tank an air fitting to pressurize it and a
valve to control it and voila they had a simple tool to fill rear ends
and auto trannies with. They had 2 one for 90 W and one for ATF. They
pressurized the ATF to 40 PSI and the 90W to 90 PSI. There was a hose
on the valve and when it was time to top off a differential they took
the tank under the car with them put the hose in the fill plug and
cracked open the valve. The air pressure pushed the oil into the
differential with no mess and no fuss.
I can't remember the name of the magazine but I thought I would pass on
a neat tip.

This is basically what I was thinking of doing to pressure bleed my
brakes. By pre-purging the tube and putting the tubing on the
bleeder it could be flushed back to the master cylinder and any
bubbles should be pushed ahead and on out the top. With a vented cap
made just for bleeding and a catch pail or bottle I should be able to
run a bunch of air free fluid through the system that way but I'd
have to have a sight gauge so I didn't run it out of fluid and pump....
