Ask yourself these questions. Did it ever run right? What has changed since it did? Why is the idle so high in Park? Are you compensating for a vacuum leak? What happens when you bring the idle down in Park? Is the idle too rough at normal RPM? Check the Vacuum Modulator in the tranny for a vacuum leak by plugging that vacuum line.
