Subject: E brake cable


I just received a new set of emergency brake cables from Macs auto
parts.

1.  They don't have the correct fitting on the end to properly clamp
in the origional fitting on the truck frame.  (But they will work)

2.  They are too short, they apply my parking brake at all times.
Reguardless of whether the cable is pulled.


Anyone have a recommendation on where I can purchase some good
cables?

Dennis,

I got mine for my '52 from Early Ford in Springfield, OH and they were first
class. Fit like the original and stainless cable.
