If you don't have a book and (I'm sure you'll get plenty of responses) I have a book and get back to you with a decode. Regards, Nick ------------------------------ From: "Bill" <50ford Subject: Re: (no subject) Date: Thu, 21 Dec 2000 20:37:40 -0500 Scott, Could be either 49 or 50 because first digit "9" was an extension to 49(they just cont'd forward) the rest is 8 cyl, F-3, production number (which started in 49) The 8 cyl should be 239 V-8 2bbl 100hp, 3 speed manual. don't know about the WBY in the front or the -1 at the end. I got all this from the ford red book. Bill > Hi guys, can anyone decode this for me? In my book the 8R is 8 cylinder and the Y is F-3. My 52 F-1 is sitting in the driveway waiting to be measured. The weather is cold here but can measure in the next few days if I know what you need. -----Original Message----- From: ebrowder To: pre61-list Date: Thursday, December 21, 2000 10:09 AM Subject: [pre61-list] Size for '52 F-1 Fenders > > >Any one know where I might find the measurements for the fenders on my '52 >F-1 pick up?
