Anyone ever transplanted a 4.6 or a 5.4 into one of our older trucks?

Guys,

In 1998 at the Supernationals in Pigeon Forge, there was a red 66 F100 with a
4.6 DOHC from a Lincoln Mark 8. Last year (1999) he was back with a
supercharger! Another reason to go!

Subject: 49 F1 Wiring

Having some trouble with the wiring in my effie.  Does anyone know where the
distributor coil gets it's power frome.  My manual seems to indicate that
the wire comes from the ignition switch but really isn't clear on this.

Can anyone confirm or deny this fact?
