I think it is exactly what I need to know. Will test the resistance hot and cold, and determine which I have. I looked in the Sac-Ford catalog, and all they list is 1 sender for 40-55 in 6 volt. How do I know which one it is in the catalog??????? Thanks for the help. They come with 10 universal break-away mounts that slide into the rear of each bar and require drilling 2 holes thru the original grille for the stud to pass thru and secure with a nut. Where were the holes positioned to offer the best mounting ? At the ends or left and right of center? Anyone have these already mounted with good results? Thanks for the help. I had an external oiler on the motor but, it has done nothing but give me hassles with endless oil leaks and what not. I was wondering if any one out there has an old 223 6 layiung around that they swapped out for a differnet motor and would be willing to part with these precious tubes that I can not seem to find any where.
