Gas tank placement in '48 panel
ADMIN: Major web site addition

I posted a question in the newsletter the other day about the trouble I am having in using a F-1 pickup frame for my panel truck and using the stock panel gas tank.  I want to keep the truck as close to stock as possible.  The one suggestion I received was to move the tank to the back and the filler tube to the inside.  I don't want to go that way.  What do you guys think about routing the left exhaust pipe around the tank using four of elbows, like a U shape, so it will comes out the back at the same spacing as the straight pipe.  Will this effect the flow of the exhaust on this side?

Thanks,
Bob Jones
