Air Conditioning flathead ign. timing brake lines for '51 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun, 01 Oct 2000 18:24:17 -0500 From: Chris/Jennifer Chambers <cjmc Subject: power brakes? Can anyone suggest what may be the best power booster and master cylinder set up for my 60 truck? I am running the stock frame and suspension for the time being and was wondering if I couldn't get something from the junk yard that would work. The stock drum brakes work well but you have to stand on them and it is hard work sitting at a red light for a couple of minutes. I have one line coming out of the master cylinder now, is this going to be a problem? Thanks for any help. -Chris 60 panel - ------------------------------ From: "Debi & Rick Maxted" <drmaxted Subject: Air Conditioning Date: Sun, 01 Oct 2000 23:46:31 GMT Hello, Can anyone advise me or have opinions about adding A/C to a 50 F1? I have 289 C4 combo, PS, PB, Front Disks. Any one brand preferred over another for ease of installations etc. Is there an app out there that can be mounted behind the dash cleanly with dash venting and has heater/defrost? Any and all help appreciated. I replaced the vaccuum advance pod with a new one when i rebulit the engine. Any ideas? thanks, Paul ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 02 Oct 2000 15:15:54 -0500 From: Doug Siedsma <image Subject: brake lines for '51 FTE'rs, Wondering if anyone who has replaced brake lines on a '51 f1 or similar took notes on what sizes were needed and where, so as to make it easier for someone else. I saved most but not all of old brake lines so I'm not 100% sure what diameters and lengths go where. Any notes you have would be appreciated.
