Ford slam dunks the competition with the new Super CrewZer, it makes the Super Duty and Excursion look small. Can you say tractor-trailor rig in your driveway? Here's the list of press releases: 2001 King Ranch F-150 SuperCrew 2001 Ford F-650 Super CrewZer Super Duty F-Series -- One in a Million The 2001 Platinum Edition Ford Super Duty F-250 Ford Super Duty F-Series -- The Clear Leader in Customer Choice You can find them at www.ford-trucks.com Ken Payne Admin, Ford Truck Enthusiasts ------------------------------ From: bellx2 Subject: Tow Lights Date: Thu, 28 Sep 2000 07:27:48 -0400 Last weekend I saw a neat idea on "the other brand" of pickup, being towed. I guess the owner did that I lot because he had a real neat light bar. On the rare occasion one of us might have to tow, I thought I'd share the idea. The guy had simply rigged a cross bar, slightly wider than the width of the bed, then put on two small "stubs" that slipped into the bed stake pockets. He'd hung trailer lights on the bar and run a multi-wire cable to his electrical receptacle. It appeared solid, reliable, and inexpensive; all traits that FTE'ers appreciate. RAY ------------------------------ From: MiRaWo Date: Thu, 28 Sep 2000 21:58:33 EDT Subject: 1948 F+4? I came across this old truck parked in a dugout barn on a piece of property I bought. Can anyone tell me anything about it? It appears to be a one ton or maybe a ton and a half. It say's "F+4" on the side.
