I bet the on the road numbers are impossible to accurately forecast.

However - will a big number or a little number reduce your taxes?

Also - any benefit registering as a "historic vehicle"

Also, as we all know, reported sale price can be very low for these old trucks ;-)

Got this email and thought you guys would know best, any help would be
great.
"Could you please help a english truck fan HELP !!!!! I am importing a
1958 f100 short bed fleet side into the UK but I need some imformation
if you could help because the UK customes will charge me 40% import tax
plus 17.5 % local tax so i need some production figuers if poss IE
                       1 How many fleet side  short beds made in 58
                       2 How many are still on the road in the USA
                       3 If poss how many in the UK as UK liecencing

The engine mounts were changed in 53.    Prior to 53 the mounts attached at
the water pumps.  In 53 there was a center mount.

I have been trying to find an easy way to put a 49 flathead in a 53 truck and
it cannot be done without making changes to the engine mounts.
