I would rather spend time working on my truck than clicking on buttons looking for the "Vote here" button. Bottom line is, I like the people on this list and the information and support they provide. Although I am strictly a stock kinda guy, covering other subjects pertaining to old Ford trucks is OK. Asking how to mount a chevy engine with all of the problem/solutions that go with it into an old Ford should be allowed. Responses should be off list. This keeps the OT subject matter to a minimum. Update on my truck (stuck engine). Nothing right now. Going to put this project off for several weeks and catch up on finishing my shop (wireing, insulation, sheetrock, paint, etc). Then i will pull the heads and see what is going on inside. The first is titled "Automotive Electrical Handbook" by Jim Horner ($14.95), and the other is "How to Wire Your Street Rod From Start to Finish" by Jack Sweeden ($7.99). While there, I stumbled across what I believe is a 1956 C-750 Big Job with a grain or dump body on it. (I couldn't tell which it was.) It was hard to get a good look because it was surrounded by overgrown bushes and weeds. It has the usual rust starting but looks like a complete truck. It also showed the signs of some previous body filler work. It is a V8 Custom Cab and apparently was used by the Coca Cola Co. since their script was showing on both doors through a coat of spray paint. (There is a local bottling plant here in Pensacola and has been for many years.) If anyone is at all interested in this truck contact me privately and I will see what I can do to hook you up with the owner. He is no longer open to the general public but will sell to people that he knows and their friends. The owner said that the truck is definitely for sale but he did not give me a price. He appears to be very reasonable on his prices. Larry W. Blum, Jr. lwblumjr Pensacola, Fl.
