Thanks for the information. I'm not sure that the
truck has an original ignition key setup. It has a
key that looks like a small garage door opener key in
it. I'll keep the locksmith in mind though.

Thanks again

I guess I'm lucky. My son's first word was "daddy". 2nd
word was "truck", 3rd "Momma" and 4th "car". At 2 1/2
years old, he's got toy trucks (all of them Fords!)
everywhere.

Jeff,
Possibly Scott would consider adoption of his son or a swap between the two.
Scott could then get back to his old life without trucks and you could
complete you family. Just a thought.

It's so bad around my house that when my dog "Buttons"
hears the word "truck" he is ready to ride!!! He
loves my old truck!!!

I was just wondering how many people live in Northern IL. and Southern WI.
Say from Madison down as far as the Quad Cities. I don't need exact
addresses, just a rough idea on how many live in this general region. It
might be fun to go to Pigeon Forge as a group. If you would be interested
e-mail me directly at mmorto juno.com

Panel trucks came with a 15 gallon tank inside the frame on the left.
Don't know where you could get one, tho.

Thanks for the messages of hope, and despair!

I have a few years before anything serious happens,
as my sons are still 12 years old (yes, twins). I have
a while yet to get the 'other one' converted. Though with
his love of the biological world, I'm not holding out
much hope. Identical twins aren't!

My daughter is a whole 'nother world.
I suspect she will be more like her mother, with a love
of fast and flashy cars, convertible most likely.
I'm much more practical, trucks and station wagons are
more my style.

I'm ready to cruise the FTE website with the vehicle
kid to see what year truck he is interested in, so we
can keep our eyes out for one at a really reasonable
price.
