You can install without removing the heads, use an air chuck or bungee cord. I do have a problem. The engine is a 272 V8, and the right side does not get oil up into the valves. In other words, I took the valve cover off, and it is completely dry. The left side looks fine. My question is this: What is the best way to find and clear the blockage? Has anyone done this and found a good way to do it? Thanks for your help Geoffrey == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Nov 1999 11:52:56 -0800 From: Marilyn Boese Subject: FTE Pre61 - y-block exhaust dilemma Replying to Mark Ames, Red saw the posting and said that with the engine and front clip installation, you will have a choice about where to place the engine. that will make all the difference on what exhaust you can run. running efficient exhaust is critical if you are building up the engine. if there's no room for the rams horn or the truck 4-into-1 style headers, you may end up with y-block passenger style headers or something you have to make yourself. It's good that you are thinking through to the exhaust at this point. My shop manual does show an electric motor and it does not show the connection to the dash. == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Nov 1999 00:07:18 -0800 From: Dan Laray Subject: Re: FTE Pre61 - Chat!
