Has anyone had any experience they'd like to share? Does anyone know if the width (hub to hub) is the same as stock? == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 20 Nov 1999 10:42:14 -0800 From: "Vierra, William BGI SF" Subject: FTE Pre61 - RE- Two Little Holes in Dash I don't believe the two holes in the dash are for standard electric wipers as the 51 and 52 F Series only came standard with vacuum wipers as far as I have been able to determine in researching my 51. The red book does not mention it as an option. Also if it was an option I would think you could get replacements or NOS. Can you give a better description of where the holes are. I suspect that they are not standard and were added later for who knows what. In my Truck the speaker grill was gone and a radio mounted in its place. It also has two holes one directly above the steering column and one two inches to right that do nothing, one has a rocker switch that connects to nothing the other is an empty hole. I have a few good pictures for magazines of 100% original trucks and they do not have the holes you described. == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 20 Nov 1999 18:20:39 -0600 From: "Andy Montebello" Subject: FTE Pre61 - Tire Recommendations Looking for recommendations for tires for a stock 1950 Pickup. Radials, what size? Bias ply, what size? I want as good a ride as possible, won't be carrying loads.
