Subject: FTE Pre61 - '52 F1 Front Clip

I'm considering replacing the stock front axle in my '52 F1 with an
Aspen/Volare' clip. Has anyone had any experience they'd like to share?
Does anyone know if the width (hub to hub) is the same as stock?

Subject: FTE Pre61 - RE- Two Little Holes in Dash

I don't believe the two holes in the dash are for standard electric wipers
as the 51 and 52 F Series only came standard with vacuum wipers as far as I
have been able to determine in researching my 51. The red book does not
mention it as an option. Also if it was an option I would think you could
get replacements or NOS.

Can you give a better description of where the holes are. I suspect that
they are not standard and were added later for who knows what. In my Truck
the speaker grill was gone and a radio mounted in its place. It also has
two holes one directly above the steering column and one two inches to right
that do nothing, one has a rocker switch that connects to nothing the other
is an empty hole.

I have a few good pictures for magazines of 100% original trucks and they do
not have the holes you described.

I put the ram assist power steering on my 55; works fine, and installs
easily in about 2-3 hours by a near novice driveway mechanic like
myself.

hi, i'm getting ready to install an under dash stereo in my 56 f-100.theres
no antena and i don't really want one in sight. i guess what i'm looking for
are suggestions anyone can offer as to where i could install something outta
sight but bring in a decent reception. anyone idea's? thanks in advance, dan
still 56 an lovin it!
