I'd like to refer everybody to agreat site that debunks a lot of those
internet hoaxes and urban legends floating around. It is
www.urbanlegends.com.. Not only is the site amusing, but very
informative. I suggest going there with any of the stories you find.
It's a LOT more fun to talk about our old trucks here.

Ray:

Before you do anything else I would contact Stockton Wheel Service,
stocktonwheel.com 800.395.WHEEL. They are really good and have been around
a long time (1883). If they can't fix the problem with what you have they
will have or will make what you need. Good luck.

I have a few questions. Did the '54 Ford F-100 come with a horn?? What's
the original rearend ratio? And does anyone know of a company that makes
custom speedo cables??
All help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Does anyone know the gas tank capacity for a 52 pickup? Also, there are two
unidentified holes in the dash just right of center. I have no idea what
they are for.

thanks
Charles

I want to add power steering to a 55 F250.
I found a kit from Bob's F100 that uses a '80's Toyota gear box
and one from Sacramento Vintage that uses a GM gear box.
Has anyone used these? Comments?
Are they any other options out there for the original front end?

I just got a old Rainbo bread truck. It looks like a 48-52 in the front. It
has a straight six, three speed and the old style split rearend. The only
tag I could find says Vanette body and then some serials numbers but they
are not very legible. Anybody have any info on these or know where I can
get some. I have a picture I can e-mail if anybody thinks they can help.
Thanks, Brian
