This can be countered by installing the rear shocks with the tops inclined inward & installing a rear sway bar. Two I know of are Checkmate (1-800-944-9319). The make flush covers that fit inside the flare of the bed. The other is Gaylords (WWW.Gaylordslids.com). I believe theirs are flush covers that would got from edge to edge. Another source is Trucking magazine. They have a bunch of suppliers advertised. If you do find a better source, I would like to know as I have 2 other trucks that may be candidates. I tried several sources in Hemmings myself and came up empty. Good Luck. I bought 6 16" wheels for my 49 F-5 and just discovered tonight the drums are too big by 1/2". They are the big 5-bolt pattern budd wheels if anyone needs my 16" or knows where i can get any size from 17" up to 22.5". I will change rear-end gears to get the right road speed. I was going to try to make it lower by using the 16's, but it would also look cool short and high I think, depending on what I can find. I need to eliminate the suicide rims!! Any help is well appreciated. Thanks, Ray C PS I've been busy, saving and reading messages right along but have not been writing much for a while so just to aquaint myself with some of the newcomers to the list, these are the trucks I am into: 48 F-6 Rescue 49 F-5 Short WB 53 F-100 Panel 54 C-600 COE 56 P-100 Milk Truck 61 C-850 Tilt Cab Anyone else into this weired stuff?
