Subject: FTE Pre61 - Alternate wheels for '52 F4

Hi folks,

My '52 F4 is fitted with 18 inch wheels (7.00-18 tires). Are these wheels
the "split rim" type, which I've heard are dangerous to do tire changes on?
Also what is the lug bolt spacing (diameter?) for the F4? They are 5 lug
type wheels. Is there a more modern replacement wheel available from
another vehicle, which will bolt right on (16, 16.5, 19.5, 20 inch, etc.)
and have about the same or slightly larger tire diameter?

Call David Starr at (940) 433-5273, he has several 57 to 60 model cabs,
including some big windows. He is a friend of mine and lives in Texas just
north of Ft. Worth.

In answer to rad question: Where are you at? Weight of radiator?(to check
UPS fees) How much for it? Are you willing to box well for shipping?

Does it have the two side mounts which will unbolt and hold it at an
angle when mounted? Did you change rad in your COE, and what did
you use?

to: Loren, check out cabs from big trucks, they are mostly the same
and usually in better shape, I guess because they were higher off the
ground from salt sprays, and usually more sitting around on farms and
older junkyards. "G"

I thought the big trucks had larger cabs. There is one near where I live
and the cab is huge compared to the F100. I guess they could bolt up, but I
dunno.
